I am refining the paragraph styles I use for legal briefs. My
heading styles are outline-type, and the styles are linked to the
appropriate levels. My question concerns the way to approach
paragraphs which, in some documents like pleadings, are
consecutively numbered. Their numbering does not restart after
headings, but just keeps going and going. Should they be plain old
number-type styles, or should they, too, be outline-type styles?
If the latter, should they be level one, and should I then use a
Listnum name (and another Listnum name for the actual heading
series)?
