Suppose you are working with multiple windows in an Office 2003 product. If
you close the current window in Word or Powerpoint using the top-right red X
button, it will close just the current window but in Excel it closes all
windows.
I just want to ask user interface designers to keep consistency over the
products, I know there is a small X button right below the top red X to close
the current window specifically, but the red button attracts attention and
for frequent users of one application (in my case Word and Powerpoint) I
would expect the same button in Excel to have the same functionality.
