Consistent error at close: "Compile Error in Hidden Module.Autoexec."

This comes up every time I quit Excel.

It started, best I can recall, after the last automatic update.

I have been meaning to ask about it for some time now. Usually, however, I
close it only when I¹m leaving my desk.

Is there perhaps an easy way for me to avoid this intriguing but somewhat
annoying communication from my software?

Thanks.

Have you looked through the previous posts, or done a search of the
archives:

http://groups.google.com/advanced_group_search?as_ugroup=*mac.office*

???

If you did, you'd probably have found this:

I had no idea how to search ³archives.²

I have never used google to search groups.

I did look through previous posts and found nothing.

The help file you wrote is great. Not only gives the fix but explains why.

Kind of wish you hadn¹t beat me up first, but I¹ll take what I can get. :)

Thanks!

Best,

- Bill

Sorry - certainly wasn't trying to beat you up. Was trying to let you
know the other options (one reason I provided the googlesearch URL)...

Thanks again.

I see a lot of other great stuff in there.

Mystery to me why Adobe would do something quite so annoying and relentless,
but I¹m glad someone figured a countermeasure.

I hope you are working on solving spam and rudeness in public places?

Merry Christmas!

Best,

- Bill

Sort of...I get roughly 1000-1800 spams a day. SpamSieve catches almost
all of it.

I try not to be rude anywhere, but I'm afraid the public should be very
thankful that my automobile didn't come with the surface-to-surface
missile option...
