Consolidated Project with Consolidated Projects?

Is it possible to have consolidated projects with consolidated
projects? An example would be to have one consolidated project file
contain multiple programs which themselves are consolidated because
they represent multiple projects within the program.

Yes it is possible to have several levels of consolidation.
But I never tested the stability of such an architecture in industrial
projects...

I think that using a single resource pool is actually the best way to avoid
issues in this approach.
