Consolidation of multiple IMAP inboxes

I really like the improved handling of IMAP accounts in Outlook 2007,
particularly the fact that you no longer need to manually purge deleted
email, and that you can select a sent items folder on the server instead of
having to copy sent mail to the server with an email rule. I do feel that
there is still room for improvement here, however. I was recently showed how
apple's mail client handle's IMAP accounts and I was particularly impressed
by the way multiple IMAP accounts can be consolidated by the client. Each of
the individual IMAP accounts with the subscribed folder lists still show in
the navigation pane, however, all of the inboxes can be viewed by the client
in one folder view, as can all of the sent items etc. This is much the same
as viewing multiple pop account messages downloaded to the same inbox, and
eliminates the fuss of having to manually switch between inboxes to view all
incoming mail items, while maintaining the convenience of keeping seperate
accounts. As someone who uses three seperate IMAP accounts it would be a
feature I would find extremely useful. It seems to me that, with the
advanced search features of outlook 2007, this should be fairly simple to
impliment.
