We have about 45 active users on Entourage 2004 or 2008 and we have been experiencing the same issue across the board. Entourage comes up with an error of "your database is damaged blah blah blah", we have rebuilt, verified and even compacted the database but to no avail. The only way to fix this is to restore from a database backup and then let it resync to catch up.
This happen at least twice a week to random users so all we end up doing is restoring and syncing databases. We have managed to figure that it seems to be something with the size of the database as we have tried everything possible to man, we did discover that on some of the databases if we archived the mail (using outlook as the archive in Entourage is appalling) and bought the database size down to around 4 - 5 GB they work but as soon as the users databases start to grow again we end up at zone one again.
This is starting to get really bad and we can not roll out to the rest of the users (100+) until we have this resolved. HELP!!!
