Constant screen flickering, driving me nuts

My Word for Office XP screen is constantly flickering.
The same several lines of text flicker intermittantly,
every several seconds, at inconstant intervals. No other
program in Office or on the machine behaves like this, so
I think it's a problem with Word, not the computer. I've
turned off the automatic save option in Word, and done a
bunch of troubleshooting in the monitor controls, etc,
but the problem persists and it's making me crazy. Any
ideas?

Try updating your video driver from the manufacturer's website.
