constantly crashes

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: Power PC

The program is unstable and crashes almost every time i try to save. I see that others are having the same problem. What is being done to fix it?

Funny, I've read every post on this board and constant crashing isn't a
very common problem, once we got past Jan/Feb.
