See my earlier reply. You have failed to meet one of the conditions I
specified.
You, likewise, have provided no information. We have no idea what a
"Contact
List" even is. Outlook has no such term. Outlook will never "load"
Vista's
Contacts. It can't.

We can't solve it from this end without more information. For
electronic
addresses to appear in the address book view, each of the following
must
be
true:
1. Outlook Address Book Service is installed and configured properly
2. Contacts Folder must be enabled as an email address book
3. Electronic address must be valid and resolved
Accordingly, one of those conditions has not been met.

Have many contacts in contact list. COntact is definitely set to be
the
address book. But when I click the To button or the address book
although
the contacts appear the email address for most users do not appear
even
though they all have email addresses. For some it appears but not
others
and
I cannot figure out any rhyme or reason for that. This one has me
stumped.
Sorry still trying to get to grips with this discussion thing.
I have exactly the same problem. I have created a large contact list
with
several specific folders, home, work etc.
But none of these are being picked up on the To, cc Bcc entries for an
e-mail. It appears to loading the Vista mail address book. How Can I
make
Outlook use its own Contact list. I am sure on my previous XP PC and
earlier
version of Outlook I could do this.
Thanks for your reply. I think some clarification is need re 'Contacts'
and 'Address Book'.
I have Outlook 2007, which has a tab marked 'Contacts' and includes a My
Contacts folder into which I have imported a .pst file from my old PC.
On the Outlook toolbar I have an 'Address Book' icon and an area to
'search
address book'. The details in the 'Address Book' do not match My Contacts.
A couple of questions:
1. The 'Address Book' does not appear to allow you to set up seperate
folders for contact details, if it does I have not found out how.
2. How do you enable nthe 'Contacts Folder' as an e-mail address book?
Thanks
