Contact file problems

I recently copied my personal (pst) file from my old Win
98 computer to my new Win XP computer. The contacts did
transfer, but now when I am composing email I can't
access those contacts when I click on the "To" button. I
have to either type in the address manually or open the
contact and generate the email through that person. Is
there a way to fix this problem? Thank you.

I just did this myself. If your contacts show up in the
XP Outlook Contact file, then right click on the
category, click on properties, click on the Outlook
Address book tab and check show this folder....

that should work.
