Contact information not showing up in tasks assigned

When I generate a task to make a follow up call or send
information I can't get the company and phone number to
appear in the task list. I have to follow the contact
link to get the information when I just want to customize
my task list to show it so I can be more efficient.

Does anyone know why and how to fix it?
