Contact Journal Tab

I want to record journal entries for phone calls for contacts when dialed
from the contact folder.
There is an 'entry type phone call' in the journal but nothing is ever
recorded there.
I dont see a journal tab for each contact? outlook 2002 xp home.

The equivalent in Outlook 2002 is the Activities tab.
