Contact list not displayed when you click on the TO:, CC:, BCC:

A few days ago I migrated all my Outlook .pst files from an older computer
to a newer one. In that process I was able to get all of my .pst files to
function as they use to in my old machine with one exception and that is the
contact listing display when creating an email and I want to find email
address in my contact list.
Previously I could click on the TO: and it would display my contact list
allowing me to find and click on the name of the person.
However when I do that now there is nothing in that display listing, yet my
contacts list seems to be just fine.
Can someone tell me what I need to do to regain that function otherwise all
my email addresses are usless.
Thanks

I'm trying to migrate from Outlook 2003/XP to 2007/Vista. I've done the
procedure described below multiple times and it doesn't solve the problem. It
just says the OAB is already installed. Each time I try to modify the
Properties of the Contacts folder, the "use address book for email" checkbox
is greyed out.

I also went through the steps to create a new Outlook profile, and briefly
the OAB DID contain the addresses from my Contacts list. However, after I
synched my Treo 650, the address book once again came up empty. Is this
related? Who knows?

It's a lot of work for me to create a new profile with multiple email
accounts, and I'd prefer to avoid it, but I guess I'll do it again if it will
solve this problem.

What now??

You have posted a two unrelated problems here. Apparently you migrated your
data to Outlook 2007 incorrectly and corrupted your profile. That's why you
had to create a new Outlook profile to get the OAB to work.
You then corrupted your data with your sync. That is not an Outlook issue.
Contact whoever supports your sync software to solve that problem. Once you
do, you can just restore your Outlook Contacts from your most recent backup
without the necessity of creating a new Outlook profile.

Glad to hear it. That means you migrated your data correctly and just left
out the last step. A lot of folks seem to be migrating their data
incorrectly and then can't do the last step.
