Contact Names in Business Contact Manager

I would like to file my business contacts under their business name (example:
Starbucks) but Outlook only allows for a "Full Name" (first, middle, last).
I have tried saving the complete business name as a last name (leaving the
first and middle name boxes empty). This works sometimes, however when I
move my contacts to a new computer Outlook automatically gives these
companies a first and middle name. The company will be displayed as
"Starbucks, Starbucks." How can I stop this?

Does Business Contact Manager provide any way to save contacts under their
business name?

Are you using 2007? If so, there is a field called 'File As'. From this
there are various options you can select, one of which is the Company name.
Does this achieve what you're looking for?

I'm using Outlook 2003 with Business Contact Manager. I don't have an option
to "file As" > "company name". I would have to type it in myself and
sometimes the program won't let me. It's very glitchy with this issue. The
problem arises because the program wants to give a "Full Name"....and
automatically gives it a First, Middle, and Last Name.

I also have another problem with the form. Unlike the regular 'Contacts'
form, the Business Contacts form needs it's cache to be deleted often.....and
the software designers didn't make it easy to resolve or locate the delete
location easy. Otherwise, the form can't be installed on the computer (I
don't know why because it was used so often). I can't believe Microsoft
released this program with so many problems.

Julie,

This may be none of my business saying this but I would heavily encourage you
to upgrade to Outlook 2007 with BCM. The 2003 version will eternally
frustrate and torture you. The 2007 version may still frustrate you on
ocasion but far less so. 2007 seems to be on the right track and is far more
useable as a day to day real world business application.
