Contact overall or Notes field size limit

I have a user of our Exchange 2003 server using Outlook 2003 who uses the
Notes field of contacts extensively and he clamis that things entered there
are disappearing. I have tried to find out if there is any limit to the size
of a contact of the Notes field within a contact, to no avail. The MS KB is
silent on the subject as far as I can tell.

Does anyone know if there are any size constraints?
