I recently upgraded a XP machine with office 2003 fully patched - to office
2007 SP1
It was done via upgrade license.
Ever since the upgrade the users searches are not working properly. When in
contacts - sometimes the address book will show no matches, but the find bar
- in contacts - will returns all the matches. Then the reverse will happen.
I have seen that the Address Bar search will pull up 8 matches and the Find
Search bar in contacts will return 9 matches.
Can someone please help me with this. I have tried uninstalling office 2007
and office 2003. Then installed office 2003 and tested - same thing.
But if I log on another machine with this users account. Both searches work
fine. So its not the contacts its outlook. How can I rectify this?
