1) In Outlook, is it possible to lock/unlock the upper section of th
General Tab fields so that they stay static across tabs? Mos
importantly, I would like to be able to view these key contact field
while reading notes/journals on the bottom portion of the display.
2) When my Inbox is displayed, a window of Shortcuts shows in a windo
on the Left. I like this format. However, when I click on the Contac
Shortcut (in the Left Window), it replaces the Inbox info. in the Righ
Window with Contact info. This, I don't like. My goal is to be abl
to view both simultaneously. Therefore, I have created a new Group Ba
called Contacts. When I click on the Contacts Group Bar, all the Grou
Bars move up to the top. This is great, because it gives blank windo
space to display the actual contact. The problem is that I don't kno
how to make that final piece work... how do I make it so that th
contact names or email addresses show below the Contacts Group Bar i
the Left Window?
3) The following is a request for general advice. We currently use AC
as our database. We are considering using Outlook instead. Has anyon
ever heard of a hight contact quantity causing usage problems to occu
(5,000-15,000 entries)? Any other feedback on which one is better an
why would be much appreciated (conversion issues, ease of use...).
