Contact window on menu bar

Anytime I type the name of one of my contacts into the
window on the menu bar, Outlook crashes. After submitting
several error reports, Microsoft recommended I download and
install Office 2000 SR-1. The download went ok but at the
end of the installation, I got a message saying there was a
problem with the install and to contact Microsoft. I
figured I'd start with the discussion groups. Any help
anyone can offer will be greatly appreciated.

Problem solved. I re-downloaded the Office 2000 SR-1
update and Outlook works again.
