Contacting Access Across the Internet?

Hi everyone,

I have a requirement to somehow have a server connect to another server, and
somehow insert information in an access database. The server with the data
to insert will probably be using some form of .net technology - maybe an
ASP.net page would activate the transfer.

Does anyone have any ideas if that possible and how it could be done. I have
a few ideas myself but I have a hunch that I might be over complicating
things.

Alternatively, is it possible to get Access to use a webservice? I can use
either 2000/2003
