Contacts - 2002 to 2003

Barbara Graham

I installed Office 2003 (upgrade from 2002), and although my contacts are
still there and accessible, I can't send email to anyone in my contacts
folder. The email goes into cyberspace somewhere, I get no error message,
but the recipient doesn't get it. I can send email to anyone who is NOT on
my contact list.

Could someone please tell me what I might do to "update" my contacts so that
I will be able to send email to them in Outlook 2003? Thank you very much.

Can you add yourself to your contact and then send a message to yourself?
Also have you verified it to work when you remove someone from the address
list?

I've been doing a lot of things to try to figure something out. It looks
like at this point that I can send messages to any individual in the
contacts folder, but not to a (even recreated) distribution list, and not to
multiple people, and not to one recipient and one bcc. This is probably too
confusing, but if you have any other ideas I would appreciate them. Thank
you again.

Actually it makes sense somewhere; it looks like you can only send to 1
person at a time. Contact your administrator/ISP to verify if they set this
limit. You can also setup Outlook Express and see if the behaviour is the
same. If so it's very likely your admin/ISP indeed set this limit.
