Contacts administration restrictions

When I go to my contacts it does not allow me to edit the contacts. I am running XP with 4 users logons. When I make a change to my contacts and click "Save and Close" here is what it says: "The item could not be saved to this folder. The folder has been moved or deleted, or you do not have permission. Do you want to save a copy of it in the default folder for the item?" If I say yes then I get : "You do not have permission to move this item.". On my wifes login this does not seem to be a problem. Any ideas? Thanks!
