Email Client: Exchange
I've been dealing with a major email problem, described in greater detail here: <http://www.officeformac.com/ProductForums/Entourage/8826>
Part way through the repair process, I exported my Entourage database to an .rge file (main identity.rge) on an external hard drive.
Now I find that my contacts are completely empty, and the only thing left in my address book are the groups that I created.
I distinctly remember selecting "keep items in Entourage" during the export process, and all the email is still here.
Any ideas or suggestions?
Perhaps importing the Archive back into Ent is the only solution. I am apprehensive about this, because the archive is very large (4.4GB). That's because it already contains multiple copies of many of my folders and messages, due to the problem described in the linked post above. So an import would DOUBLE that problem. Not sure Entourage can handle that. I already had to repair the database once.
