Contacts and address book

I have just reinstalled Windows XP and Office XP, both Pro. I have plenty of
Contacts but the address book is empty. How do I get Outlook Address Book to
recognise the Contacts?

Thanks

Right click your Contacts folder, select Properties, and click the Outlook
Address Book tab. Make sure the "Show this folder as an e-mail address
book" checkbox is checked.

I fixed that address book a few days ago as advised. This advice appeared to
be lacking in Outlook help though, which is a bit of a shame.
Thanks
