contacts and the outlook bar

i've been told that I can put a shortcut to MS word in the
Outlook Bar. I can then drag and drop contacts onto this
shortcut and it would open a word doc with the contact's
info at the top.

Can anyone tell me if this is actually possible in Outlook
XP, and if so how do I set it up? I dragged a word
shortcut into the outlook bar, but it does not work.
