Contacts - Area Code

JB

I bought a used notebook, and when I go to enter contacts it has a default
area code of 612. For example, if I type 222-2222 it will populate the area
code with 612, but I want to change the default to 480 after I have typed
just the last 7 digits of a phone number.

Any thoughts????

Not an Outlook setting. Just set the dialing location for your operating
system to 480.

For Windows XP, it's Start>Control Panel>Printers and Other Hardware>Phone
and Modem Options. See the Dialing Rules tab
