Contacts disappear 5 seconds after I add them

After I add a contact it disappears within 5 seconds. I am using Outlook
2003. I have made sure that all mail is being delivered and synchronized to
my Exchange mailbox. I keep getting this synchronization error after the
added contact disappears:
15:01:48 Synchronizer Version 11.0.6352'
15:01:49 Error synchronizing message 'Tiffany Tobol'
15:01:49 [8004010F-501-8004010F-324]
15:01:49 The client operation failed.
15:01:49 Microsoft Exchange Server Information Store

I have clicked on the Microsoft link and followed the suggested fixes to no
avail. Please help.
