Contacts Doubling

Good Morning All,
I have a questions about Contacts. After migrating users
from Outlook 2000 to Outlook XP some of our clients are
seeing duplicates of their contacts and some old ones that
were deleted long ago are reappearing. Any ideas on what
is happening. Thank You in advance.
