That's interesting, since Outlook Help has a bunch of information
about
Address Books. What I was really hoping to resolve is that when I
click on "To:" in a new message, there is no information at all in
the
"Select Names" dialog box. Also, when I type a name or a group or
use
"Check Names" there is no information. Is there an index file that
needs to be rebuilt?

your
Contacts are
there you have all your data.

I'm using Outlook 2002 under XP. I don't know how the file was
corrupted. When I opened Outlook yesterday, there was no info - no
email, no contacts. I used "File - Open - Outlook Data File" to open
the most recent outlook.pst file and apparently got back all the
information except for the address book.

Did you expect us to answer with no information?

When I go to Properties-Outlook Address Book, the check box for
"Show
this
folder as an email address book" is greyed out. Is there a fix for
this? --
