Contacts list in 2 places - need to delete one but can't - greyed

We have an end user who has somehow placed his Outlook Contacts in 2 places -
one in the regular place and another under Journals?
We are not sure how this function happened , but in the mean time we are
unable to delete the Contact list under Journal as it is greyed out and will
not let you do so?
Has anyone encountered this issue and please email me if you have a solution.
