Contacts - Sorting

PLEASE, PLEASE CAN SOMEONE HELP ME....I somehow screwed
the way in which my contacts are sorted when attempting to
do a mail merge....my names in the address are sorted by
first name instead of by last name. although i have
sorted them in the proper category by file as:, they no
longer show up as last name coma first name...instead they
show up as first name last name! i am beyond frustrated
and if someone could please help me i would be most
appreciative. i hope i have explained my situation in a
way in which you can understand. thanks so much.

You need to explain more clearly just where your Contacts are failing to
appear the way you want. You would do well to post your Outlook and Word
versions.
