contacts v address book

I used to use OE but now I use Outlook I cannot work out
how to produce a distribution list. When I go
File>New>Distribution List I put name of group then when
I try to add a name by pasting from contacts a message
tells me that address book could not be found etc etc

Reset your Outlook Address Book Service. I can't tell you how because you
didn't post your Outlook version.
