Contacts with Children & spouses... How best to design???

Ok, so I am building a database for my friend's community group. Many
menmbers of the group have children. I was toying with the idea of entering
the children as regular contacts, but would like to figure out a way to have
them show up on a form or report with their parents... same thing with
spouses... Only problem is I can't concieve of a good way to do this without
using two tables which does not give me what I want.

I am looking for your suggestions and as much detail as you can spare as I
am not new to access, but a novice none the less. I am also not a coder... so
VB is nice, but Idon't get it ;-)
