Contacts Won't Appear

My contacts will not appear when I am creating a new email
message. I'll open the new message and then click on
the "to" button, but "Show names from List:" field does
not have my contacts folder even listed. No address books
are listed there in fact. Any ideas on this one?
Thanks. Oh yeah I am running Outlook XP on a WinXP Home
Edition comuter.

Right click Contacts and select properties>Outlook Address Book Tab and
check "Show this folder as an e-mail address book".
