Contacts won't send

I have Outlook 2002 as part of Office XP. HP desk top 753n
512 Ram,W Xp .High speed connection with hotmail.

Things were ok until a few days ago my email to my
previously ok contacts began not to send. Yesterday I sent
one and it went. The answere came back and when I tried to
reply it wouldn't go. I retyped that is entered the person
again and sent a fresh email and it went. Then another
unrelated contact would not send. Not even when I made a
new listing.
Very annoying. Apreciate any help.
