content advisor

Hi all...need help. can anyone give me some clear simple
instructrions to an "idiot" on how to change content
advisor back to its original settings?

Runing XP Home Edition, Version 2002, service pack 1
Explorer 6.0.2800.116

I have my password ok,,,but can't access any web sites or
pages without the pop up screen coming up and causing me
to enter a password.

Haven't a clue why this has started, other than I
recently upgraded AOL to 8.0

I have run through a number of "suggesion" I found on the
web..but to no avial..most of them do not "track" with
explorer 6.0.

Hope someone can help..will be extremly greatful..
