Hi,
Is this a known Word 2007 bug? When a linked (child) document has content
controls locked to avoid deletion, if you modify the contents from a parent
document (which has an {INCLUDETEXT} field pointing to the child document)
and call an UpdateSource command (Ctrl+Shift+F7) the source document is not
updated.
Procedure:
1. Create a new document "child.docx"
2. Include some text and a Content Control
3. In "Content Control Properties", check the box: "Content control cannot
be deleted"
4. Save child.docx
5. Create a new document "parent.docx"
6. Create a field {INCLUDETEXT "child.docx"} and update its contents
7. Modify the text inside the content control, and press CTRL+SHIFT+F7 to
UpdateSource. The child document is not modified.
Regards,
Pedro
