I have several forms having the HelpContextID
property set so that the use of PF1 will take the
user to the appropriate help text in the .chm file
that resides in the same directory as the application.
I'm having trouble with the "Auto Sync". All
indications are that the source of the problem
lies with Access 2000. The HTML help source
is configured correctly and the API tests work
perfectly for all the context ID's tested. Yet,
when I invoke HELP via PF1 the topic pane
is correct, but the TOC fails to open with the
TOC highlighted accordingly. I.e., the TOC
should expand to the TOC entry that corresponds
to what is being displayed in the topic pane and
be highlighted, just though one had traversed the
TOC and selected it.
Is there a known problem with context sensitive
help ID's in Access 2000?
The .chm file IS NOT a merged HTML help file.
If there's something at MSDN about the problem,
I've failed to find it.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Bill
