Context Menu Addition for HTML Links in Email Reading Pane

Since the advent of IE7 our intranet functionality requires the ability to
open most html links in intracompany emails in either the same tab or the
same copy of the browser. This, of course, is relatively easy to accomplish.

However, we also need to be able to open foreign links in either a new tab
or a new copy of the browser.

In IE6 we were able to accomplish this by using of the "Main" tag in our
HTML code. We have learned that IE7 no longer offers this functionality with
or without the use of Tabs.

An acceptable work around would be to be able to right click a link in an
email in Outlook 2007 and add an element to the context menu which would
offer the ability to open the link in either a new tab or a new copy of the
browser.

I have got to believe many other companies that use browsers to access their
intranet would find this beneficial.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Alex Craig
