Hi Guys,
I seem to recollect that you could add "Send to Floppy" to the "File"/"Send
to" submenu but I cannot remember how to do it and can find no mention of it
anywhere? was I just imaginings it? Any help would be greatly appreciated

Windows OS has the "Send to Floppy" on the right-click context menu but I
never heard of one on the Excel File>Send to menu. Perhaps someone added a
custom item to the menu that would save a copy to a floppy drive.

Couple of problems with what you want......

First, if the file was open it could not be "sent"(copied or moved) to a
floppy.

It could be saved to a floppy but that can lead to corrupt files.

Best to save the file in Excel then go to Windows Explporer and Copy the file
to floppy.

When opening the file, copy back to hard drive first then open. Do not
attempt to open from the floppy. Again....corruption can arise and is very
common.

Hi Gord,
I see what you are saying and it makes a lot of sense, but I am fairly sure
I did see such a thing but it was on an older version of Excel. Many thanks
for your thoughts.
