Contextual spell checker 2007

Hi

Is there any reason why I get the blue squiqqly lines with some errors (e.g.
The plaintiff will asses the damages no later than Tuesday) but not others
(e.g. He was loosing so much time)?

Thanks

Further to this, I have just tried typing the same error "The plaintiff will
asses the damages no later than Tuesday" into a new document and I do not get
the squiggly line, even though the line is still showing in my original
document.

That is odd.

Check that the whole document has the correct language applied and that the
option to skip proofing has not been set.

Hi Terry.

By skip proofing do you mean the 'Do not check spelling or grammar setting'
from the Language dialog box. If so, it is not selected and the whole doc is
using English (UK).

Did you do this with the whole document selected (e.g. Ctrl+A and then check
in the Tools, Language dialog)?

Hi again Terry,

Thanks for this, it helped me work it out.

Contextual spell checking only works for US (English), not UK (English)
language settings.

I'm gutted.
