Continouos Loop Requires a Click to continue

Jason Madison

I am running PowerPoint 2003 SP 1.

I want to create a presentation that runs in a continuous loop, and as a
test have created a single slide with three items on it.

The first is text, the second is text and the third is a picture. Each item
is set with a Custom Animation to appear and perform some effect, with the
"Start" property always set to "After Previous".

I have set the Slide Show/Set up Show/Loop Continuously until Esc option on,
and the sequence runs without interruption, but stops at the end and
requires that I click the slide with my mouse before it will loop around and
play again.

How can I get the presentation to loop continuously without the click?

I think the problem is slides are not transitioning automatically. Do the
following:
1. Select "Slide Show" | "Slide Transition..." menu item.
2. Check "Automatically after" box.
3. Click "Apply to All Slides" button.

Now when you run the slide show, it should loop without any manual
intervention.
