Hello,
We are experiencing a strange problem with three Win7 clients on a SBS 2008
network.
Whenever outlook is launched, the user is asked for their user name and
password, similar to when a remote user connects from outside the network
using RPC over HTTP.
No matter how many times the user name/password are entered, the prompt
continues to appear. Only after cancelling the prompt can the user get into
Outlook and use the program - Outlook reports that exchange is connected,
mail works as expected.
However, the prompt continues to appear.
This happens whether the user is on the local network, or working remotely.
We have tried removing the profile, repairing the installation, and the
problem still persists.
This problem does not occur on Win XP clients with Outlook 2003.
Can anyone suggest a possible starting point to resolve this issue? It is
becoming quite a nuisance.
Thanks,
Paul
