Continually getting form corruption?

When I add a new text box control to a form and then enter its control source
through properties, it seems to corrupt the form and a I have to recreate it
from a backup copy but I loose all the changes I've made. I've tried
compoacting and repairing the database but that doesn't do it. As it happens
in both Access 2003 and 2007 it would appear to be my database? This happens
with increasing frequency and without any apparent reason. Anyone any ideas?

Hi tony
I have had this problem before.

Best way to fix it is to create a blank access database and import all of
your database objects (tables, queries etc) into it and see if that fixes
the problem. Good luck!

One additional thing I might add.
After importing all objects into the new db I turn off Track name
AutoCorrect Info
(and leave off), compile the code and then compact and repair the db.
At least that's what the people in this ng suggested to me. It seems to work
fine.

lot of feedback about how to deal with corruption and also numerious steps
you can take to minimize the occurrences of corruption.
