continued: pasting file A into file B

Thanks for the previous input.
The problem is specifically this:
I'm writing a report document B where in the appendix I
would like to refer to document A. Instead of physically
copying the document A onto blank pages, I would like to
have document A pasted into B. However, the headers and
footers of document B should be consistent throughout the
whole document AND I would like to have the headers and
footers of document A present as plain text.
Is this possible? (so that I can say on page 30 you can
see the original protocol with it's original headers and
footers). Am I wishing too much of word??

For this type of application your best bet may be a picture. Display the
document on the screen in such a way that you can see the whole page and use
a screen capture utility (I recommend SnagIt) to copy the page image. Then
insert that in your document as an inline graphic. Repeat for each page.

Thanks Suzanne for the input. However if the document is
130 pages making a picture is just has handy as physically
copying the pages in.
But I will try it!

Yeow! Here's another idea you might try, but it's still pretty
labor-intensive:

1. Print Document A using the Zoom: Scale to paper size setting in the Print
dialog. I found that scaling from Letter to Executive worked nicely.

2. Add 130 blank pages to Document B just to get the header/footer.

3. Run Document A back through the printer to print the "blank" pages, thus
adding the header/footer to the reduced pages.
