continuous forms

Hello,
I have a continuous form with a button along the
side for each record (the same button). Is it possible for
the button to have different states for each record (i.e.
for some records the button could be enabled and for
others if could be disabled).

No, it is really only one control repeated many times visually.

Options:
- Move the control to the header or footer area and change its enable property
in the On Current Event of the form.
- Leave the control in the detail section and change its enable property in the
On Current Event of the form.

Not tried this, but if you are using Access 2000 or later, replace the button
with an unbound textbox and use conditional formatting on the textbox. You
should be able to make the textbox look like a button and use an expression in
conditional formatting to enable/disable the textbox. I don't think you can get
the outline style of text.
