I have a number of documents, each representing a different Chapter or
Appendix file.
I want to have continuous numbering between the files without having to
manually check the end of the previous file and changing the starting
number.
I have checked the article on the MVP site which linked to this page
http://homepage.swissonline.ch/cindymeister/NbrFAQ.htm#PgOverDc which talks
about inserting a bookmark and referencing the bookmark in the headers where
I display the page numbers.
My problem is that we have Endnotes at the end of each chapter and can only
make the bookmark work if it is at the end of the document but BEFORE the
endnotes which messes up the page numbering.
Is there a way to insert more text AFTER the last endnote so that I can
insert the bookmark there. OR is there another way to achieve continuous
numbering?
Thanks for your time.
