Continuous numbering

Sebastian

Hello everybody,

I'm creating a scientific document with word 2003.
Therefore I have several indices and lists in my doc. Although at the moment
it has only the small size of 30 pages I can't work with it anymore.
When working in the page layout Word does a new numbering everytime I
scroll, move the cursor or hit the keyboard.
This really slows me down and although I may work in the normal layout quit
well, I can't modify the layout because of this numbering.

Does anybody have any idea what this is all about?

Best regards

Sebastian

Hi Sebastian

It sounds almost like your document is corrupt. Have you tried copying and
pasting it into a new document?

Not sure if this will help but worth a try.
