Hi Phil,

See my reply to Subject: WSS with Project Server AD Groups.

However in your case you might be able to create a SharePoint script to
add your AD users using STSADM.exe.

It's food for thought...

Rolly -- that actually sounds like a solution for me -- is there an example
of a script for adding an AD group to become "readers" in WSS as a whole? i
know there are a bunch of STADM.exe commands but i'm not sure which to run

Thanks --

Hi Erin,

Yesterday I found an "absolutely must have" SharePoint tool from the
(not well publicized) Microsoft SharePoint web site. It's called
SharePoint Utility Suite and can be downloaded at:
http://www.microsoft.com/sharepoint/downloads/components/detail.asp?a1=
724
OR
http://tinyurl.com/lsanb

Also, here's a great "How-to" article from Keith Richie on Adding
Accounts using SPUserUtil or WSSUserUtil utility.
http://blogs.gotdotnet.com/krichie/archive/2006/05/19/602057.aspx

I haven't had the time to test it on my EPM Test Servers, but the
documentation looks pretty solid.

Try it out and let us what happens

Cheers,
