Control + C command

The keyboard shortcut for copying in Excel 2004 for Macintosh is
Control + C. (Command + C also works...)

This shortcut (Control + C) does not work for other Office
applications such as PowerPoint or Word. Is that a bug? (I am new to
MAC environment. )

Thanks.

Hi Abirami,

In general you use the Control key in Windows to take the place of the
Command (aka Apple Key) on the Mac. The reason I turned it around is
because I am pretty sure that the concept originated with MacOS, not
Windows.

If you are accustomed to Control+C then use Apple+C in its place.

Also, if you have a one-button mouse use control+click to replace
right+click.
