.... due to formatting changes or something my the
contol+end takes you to the very last possible cell
available. How can I reset Contol+End to take me to the
last cell of actual Data?

Go to the row after the data ends, select the whole row, press ctrl + down
arrow
do edit>delete

do the same for the columns but press ctrl + right arrow, do edit>delete

save the workbook

Thanks Peo
I had tried that earlier but that did not correct it.
After your reply, I tried again just to be sure and still
no luck. I could copy and paste just the active cells in
a new worksheet but this means juggling 45K lines worth
of data plus a large array formula. Trying to copying
that over blows the whole thing up - not enough memory -
therefore I have to start over! Was hoping to find a way
to reset the "end"!I do appreciate your input! Thanks and
have a good evening!

Tina,

Peo's suggestion is correct, only it will take effect once yoyu have saved
the workbook after you delete the rows and columns, not before.

Shouldn't that be "Shift + End + DownArrow"?

Crtl + DownArrow select row 65536 only. Not much point in deleting one row.

Thanks Peo and Nikos! Here I was beating my head againest
the wall and it was something as simple as deleting,
saveing, closing and reopening!! And, yes I did try it
and it worked wonderfully! Thanks for your time and
energies on this. Have a great weekend : )
